a return to tradition

i used to have a blog when i was younger.

i published things on it on and off for maybe 4 years. it's really sweet and sincere but mostly an interesting time capsule of growing up on the internet.

i also ran a blog with my friends in 6th grade

it was silly and exciting and our secret in the way that you know exactly what your friend is thinking about just by looking in their eyes. it had a clumsy sort of charm to it, that you would expect of an advice column run by 12-year-old girls.

i can't find the link :( maybe it was deleted... more likely lost to the sands of the internet.

around the same time i got really into making websites

my mom signed me up for a coding bootcamp to draw out a passion for STEM (which by the way only kind of worked) and literally all year long whenever i had the chance, i sat typing on my mom's 2006 dell laptop. sometimes on the blog, sometimes on shit like wix, and sometimes on HTML. the HTML one made for a hideous website, purple background and willy wonka themed (?) but i'd die to see it again.

it all comes together

nina posted her website and this made me so nostalgic i could not resist... nostalgia is really painful but maybe sometimes it can be good.

okay i have to go to work now bye i love you
